Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Shotcall ("Service"), operated by Soroosh Sorkhani ("we", "us", or "our"), located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Shotcall.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Shotcall.
• If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
• By using Shotcall, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at soroosh.sorkhani@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or game mechanics.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page.

• Points and leaderboard rankings are purely for entertainment and bragging rights. They have no cash value.
• Badges and achievements are virtual rewards with no monetary value.
• Shotcall is not a gambling or betting service. No license to operate gambling is held or required.
• If any jurisdiction restricts your access to prediction games, it is your responsibility to comply with those laws.

You agree to use Shotcall only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, provincial, national, or international law.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Post or share offensive, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content via group names, nicknames, or any other user-controlled field.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to our systems.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to manipulate scores, rankings, or the Service's operation.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

• You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g., group names, nicknames).
• By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content as part of operating the Service.
• Group admins are responsible for moderating their groups and ensuring members comply with these Terms.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

• Shotcall uses Google OAuth to allow sign-in with a Google account. Your use of Google's sign-in is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, Google, or any other third party mentioned on this platform.
• Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.

• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion.
• You may terminate your account at any time via the Profile page. See our Privacy Policy for details on data deletion.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

• Shotcall is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, error-free, or secure.
• Match scores are entered manually by the platform administrator and may contain errors. Points awarded based on incorrect scores may be corrected, which may affect leaderboard positions.
• We are not responsible for any loss of virtual points, rankings, or badges due to technical issues, errors, or service interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Soroosh Sorkhani and Shotcall shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Since Shotcall involves no real money or items of value, our aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to CAD $0 (nil), as no monetary harm can result from use of a free, non-monetary platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
• If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via the in-app announcement banner. Your continued use of Shotcall after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
